Question by curious: Do white people in other parts of the US tend to look down on white people from the South?
The “South” implies the states that once made up the Confederacy. It seems like white people from other parts of the US consider Southern white Americans (with the possible exception of Floridans) to be inferior. The bias seems to come mainly from Americans in the Northeastern states.
Texas has a bigger economy than New York; Florida has the number four economy of all US states. I wouldn’t call the South poor!
