Question by Harsh Truth: Could the belief in god be an addiction? Do they need “God Rehab”?
Some Christians think atheists are bitter(which is not true). Just like some alcoholics think sober people are bitter. Could it be because some Christians have to depend on god to be happy? Isn’t that how drug and alcohol addicts are? Alcoholics think they have to depend on alcohol to function. Lots of Christians are the same way about god.

Religion is the opium of the masses. (Karl Marx)
God believers are just like any other drug addict. They are in denial, delusional and prone to violence against anyone who attempts to separate them from their drug.

Question by Bridget♥: How can i stop getting addictions?
90% of my family members are either
a. a drug addict
b. an alcoholic
c. or have an addictive personality
I have an addictive personality and im trying to live a toxic-free life. Im having a lot of trouble.
I have gotten addicted to: marijuana, alcohol, pills, ecstasy, and cocaine.
Getting “un-addicted” to something is a long and difficult process. I am so SICK of going through it over and over.
I love life, and i don’t want to live it under the influence of an addiction. I’m tired of spending all my money, and im tired of fighting with my loved ones. No matter how hard I try, I end up depending on some sort of toxic substance to feed this strange and unexplainable urge.
How can I stop leaching to every activity that seems to take me away from life, even though I have a wonderful life ??

Counseling
Answer by Tanvi
seek counselling. If at all possible, move away from your family, or those specific members who are addicted. They’ll have a bad influence unless they can stop for good. Move into a slightly more upmarket area – if you can.
Try to keep yourself busy with new stuff so you don’t fall into using drugs/drinks as a coping mechanism.
