Question by Blake the dinosour!: I don’t know what to do about my medication. I take Adderall XR. Please read, and help.?
Okay, so basically I started taking Aderall XR for about a month now, I use to be a very happy person, that just couldn’t seem to get a task done. So I decided to start Adderall, because that is what I was on as a child. I’m 16 now, and I’m attitude is awful, well I don’t know if it’s my attitude, it’s more like I’m very “IRRITABLE!!!!” I can’t stand any thing, If someone is eating the wrong way it DRIVES me insane, I would hate to see someone look at me the wrong way, while me being on this medication. Also I have horrid anxiety to the point where I can’t breath. I also can’t even focus. Like school work “what is that”? Lol That’s whats been going on since then. Is this normal? Will this blow over? I mean, I don’t want to keep dealing with this! It’s awful. I feel at times like i could kill myself, I also have somewhat of a depression issue anyways, and this is NOT helping. So please help. Do I need to try regular Adderall? NOT the XR? and a high dose? and or the same dose? I take 20 mg’s. OR try something else, PLEASE HELP if you recommend something else, please, could it be something that could possibly give me energy? or and make me happy, and still, have the weigh loss side effect.

Stop using Adderall and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeats;
feeling light-headed, fainting;
increased blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, ****trouble concentrating****, chest pain, numbness, seizure); or
tremor, restlessness, hallucinations, unusual behavior, or motor tics (muscle twitches). from www.drugs.com – Check it out!
I don’t recommend any of the powerful, and addictive central nervous system stimulants. An increased incidence of abuse of cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal meth, and other amphetamines has been reported among users of Ritalin, and other amphetamine related medications, which may well predispose them to later abuse street drugs, with all the undesirable consequences involved. The only ADHD medication not in the stimulant family is Strattera, which is structurally related to the antidepressants, and carries risks, and side effects of its own.

Question by Evee: what is the difference in between ‘ pg-13 and “R rated movies?
Best answer:
Answer by bealzebub
PG-13 can have a boob flash and one F-word. Rated R movies have more of each. There is also more adult content or themes and more graphic violence.
Answer by JaneB
Here’s a link to a page that explains all the ratings
http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_Ratings.asp
This is what it says for just PG13 and R:
“A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of those words used in a sexual context. The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous.”
“An R-rated motion picture, in the view of the Rating Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about R-rated motion pictures in determining their suitability for their children. Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures.”

Question by sweety: Do you think my ex will stop doing drugs?
I was in a ten year relationship I used to do drugs but I have quit now for almost three years. I left my ex bc it eventually made me sick watching him still do it and be gona all the time doing it bc I no longer allowed it in the house. We have kids and have been seperated for about two years. I’m pretty happy an feel really great since changing my life around:) he still wants to be with me but he keeps lying about still doing drugs. He says he quit now for real and wants to be with us but I’m still really not trusting hom bc he has lied to my face about it so much over the years. I also feel really resentful toward him since he hasn’t really raised the kids with me he just has basically play dates and sleepovers at his parents now every other weekend. Is it worth it for me to not move on ? Do people like him never really quit? Am I wasting my time hoping he will change? Te kids want us together and that’s what is bothering me but I will never if he is still doing drugs bc he is not a nice person as soon as he runs out even if it’s only weed.
