I was separated from my spouse over a year ago. I (the father) got temporary custody of my daughter. The divorce is still not finalized due to haggling over property/money.

How should I handle the issue of being a single father, and still having a divorce to finalize if the interviewer brings it up? Should I mention it and if so how?

This has nothing to do with your job. Do not bring it up. If he does just say separated.
