I was separated from my spouse over a year ago. I (the father) got temporary custody of my daughter. The divorce is still not finalized due to haggling over property/money.

How should I handle the issue of being a single father, and still having a divorce to finalize if the interviewer brings it up? Should I mention it and if so how?

I would not bring the matter up but if asked just say you are separated, pending your divorce. A google search for “job discrimination parent” will give you information on how the law protects you against any employment discrimination with regard to being a custodial parent in the country you reside in.
